How do I lose weight!!!? Are you tired of all the hype and mystery that surrounds weight loss? Have you have tried every kind of fad diet, miracle exercise machine and revolutionary exercise routine out there and have still not lost weight. Or are you a newbie trying to gather information only to be overwhelmed by the hype and BS out there?

Okay, having said that, losing weight is simple. What!!! Yes, that’s right, simple. Effective weight loss is attained by creating a calorie deficit. In other words, you must expend more energy than you take in as food. You can do this either by cutting down your calorie intake or by expending more energy or better still by doing a combination of both. I’m guessing you must have heard this before and I’m sorry to disappoint you but that’s more or less it. Okay, but is it easy? I wish it were. Then we would all have bodies like fitness models.

How do I lose weight without giving up my favorite foods?
Let’s be realistic here. If you want to lose weight you will have to follow some kind of a diet. But by diet, I don’t meant torturing yourself to the point of starvation. If you did follow a diet that bordered on starvation, you would lose some weight initially. However, as time passed, your metabolism would slow down to a crawl, and losing fat would become more and more difficult. So now, you ask yourself how do I lose weight? Well, for starters go on a diet that doesn’t restrict yourself too much. I would recommend a calorie deficit of 300-500 calories below your daily caloric expenditure. If you are serious, you can do this scientifically by visiting a dietician and having your diet charted out for you. You can also wing it by substituting unhealthy snacks for a few pieces of fruit or skipping that extra helping of dessert. So, how do I lose weight without giving up my favourite food? Well, every once in a while, you can ‘cheat’ on your diet by having your favourite food, but don’t go overboard here! You can start by having it twice a week and then drop it to once a week. Following this approach is more likely to keep you on your diet than totally denying yourself. It also has the beneficial effect of keeping your metabolic rate elevated, so you burn more calories overall. Cool, huh? And you are really serious about maximizing the effectiveness of your diet try using diet pills for that extra edge.
How do I lose weight when I hate exercising?
Love it or hate it, exercising is one of the best ways to lose weight. If you hate exercising you probably haven’t given exercise a decent chance. Perhaps you associate exercise with boredom or just feel that you are naturally un-athletic. The good news is that exercise doesn’t necessarily mean slogging it out on a treadmill for hours at an end. Studies have shown that exercising in short, challenging bursts is better than steady but low intensity exercise.
How do I lose weight;how about exercising in a group of other like minded people ? Is there any sport that interests you? Exercise is way better when you are having fun doing it. In the worst case scenario, when you don’t fancy joining a gym, aren’t interested in sports, I would recommend just walking. Yes, you would be surprised just how many calories you could burn walking for thirty minutes at a brisk pace regularly. You could even burn extra calories by generally increasing the amount of physical activity in your life like taking the stairs instead of the elevator and walking to the grocery store, etc.. You get the idea.
How do I lose weight without going to a gym?
Ideally, anyone serious about losing weight should enroll themselves in a gym. If you don’t want to go to a gym, you should ask yourself why not? A common excuse is a lack of time. Most people think that you need to spend hours in the gym to see results. Actually, you only need spend about 3 hours a week. And if you are just starting out going to the gym, then this is all you will be manage without hurting yourself. Despite all this and you for some reason find it impossible to go to a gym and you still ask – how do I lose weight, then there are bodyweight exercises that you could do at home. You can easily find several of them online. Just pick exercises that involve several muscles rather than just one. Some of my favorite exercises are pull ups, pushups and squats. They require absolutely no equipment and you can start on them right away. Just make sure you follow the right technique and don’t overdo them if you are just starting out.
